Serena and Katherine’s final day with us was quite laid back. After 4 whole days of outdoor adventures, they decided they wanted to ‘take it easy’ at home on the last day. Bridgette begged to stay home from school that day so that she could spend more time with the girls before they left.
The morning began with play-doh, and I got to put our new Splat Mat from The Land of Nod to good use.
Lunch was just as low-key, at Pizza My Heart, followed by frozen yogurt at Yogurtouille in San Mateo. I couldn’t resist the temptation of sneaking in a quick nap with Bridgette after lunch, while the girls packed and watched Hannah Montana. By the time Alan came home for work, we were ready to get going. We picked my dad up, had dinner, and then sent my dad and the girls off to Hong Kong.
