Bridgette and mommy flew 6,897 miles this week to Hong Kong! The flight was pretty effortless. We departed at 1:00am, and despite the fact that it was way past Bridgette’s bedtime, she managed to stay up from the excitement of being on the plane for another 2 hours before she finally crashed. This is her 4th trip to Hong Kong, so she’s quite the experienced traveler. She loves her movies and kids’ meals on the plane, and knows the put her seat belt on when the seat belt sign comes on!
This year, we had two particular missions for our trip. Bridgette was honored to have been asked to be the Flower Girl at a family friend’s wedding on Oct. 30th. This will be her very first experience as a Flower Girl, though she certainly has been practicing hard at home!
Sadly, Bridgette’s great grandmother had a stroke back in July, and has been in the hospital since. We are eager to visit her to encourage her to stay strong so she can hopefully get better and go home soon!
