With Alan out of town, Bridgette and I decided not to cook tonight and rode our scooter out to the neighborhood sushi bar and grill. We usually sit at a table, but I decided it’d be fun to sit on the bar stools by the sushi boats. Needless to say, Bridgette was super excited about this experience, and just fascinated by the rotating boats. I let her pick her own sushi (with my guidance on what’s raw and what’s cooked) and we had a fun time eating and chatting like BFFs. I just adore her soooooo much, and feel blessed every day to have her in my life.
