After returning from our big Vancouver + Alaska trip in June, we spent most of July trying to recuperate from that trip! đ With my nephew Brady turning 1 and becoming a super active toddler, we decided not to be overly ambitious with activities and chose to stay home a lot more often than previous summers. We did enjoy some fun outings together, and the best thing about B&B being together is that they love each other’s company no matter what we’re doing (or not doing).
We love going to Stanford Mall because of it’s open air nature, giving the kids so much space to run around under the sun, in between stops at Godiva for ice cream and the two story American Girl store. Other favorites include the Ferry Building, Presidio Twilight/Off the Grid, and ofcourse, Great America theme park!
We also love roaming around our hood in the suburbs, enjoying impromptu picnics, tree climbing, and bike riding. Brady especially loves watching the geese and smashing ants with his bare hands.
I continue to feel very blessed that we get to make such wonderful memories with our kids during their childhood. Some days are hard, and exhausting, but it’s so worth it to spend quality time with them because they are young for only a small window of time.
