Our final day on board the Disney Dream was spent sailing back to Florida. A full day at sea meant lots of time in the Oceaneer Lab for the girls. We also got to explore the ship more thoroughly, and enjoyed a variety of activities, from dancing with Mickey and his friends to more time on the AquaDuck. 🙂
That night was Pirate Night, one of our favorite parts of the Disney Cruise. We didn’t bring costumes for the girls like last time, so we all just got as creative as we could with the bandanas given to us. 🙂
There is a performance before dinner to get everyone hyped up, followed by a pirate themed dinner, and culminates into a super high-energy pirate show with fireworks. Disney is the only cruise ship allowed to do a firework show in the middle of the sea, and one of the many reasons why we keep going back. It’s an amazing night, filled with extraordinary entertainment and an endless supply of food. After the fireworks conclude, the buffets reopen for everyone’s late night snack, filled with yummy items like taco, giant turkey legs, and churros.
4 nights did feel a bit short compared to our 7 night cruise last time , but we still had an amazing time. I think we’ll revert back to 7 nights for our next cruise! See you next year Disney!
