Welcome Brianne!

After months and months of anticipation, the day finally arrived! Bridgette’s best cousin and friend from Hong Kong, Brianne, arrived for her 5-week summer stay with us! We are truly ecstatic to have the two girls spend their summer vacation together. It will be one long, unforgettable sleepover party!

One of my nephews from Hong Kong, Sherwin, also arrived on the same flight. He was a bit jetlagged and shy, so he wasn’t quite ready for the camera but I can’t wait for the girls to hang out with him more this summer!

Since Brianne will be here for 5 whole weeks, it is not necessary for us to pack each day with activities. Rather, I want to have the girls spend more time playing at home this time, as they love dressing up in their princess attire and doing silly, goofy acts around the house.

Today, we took the girls out for a picnic at Coyote Point. I prepared a picnic basket full of mac & cheese, fresh fruit, and their very favorite cheetohs. We had a very relaxing, enjoyable afternoon there where, after the picnic, we taught the girls how to toss a frisbee and played a hilarious game of “Duck, Duck, Goose”. It was hilarious because rather than running around the circle when tagged ‘Goose’, Brianne would run off far, far away with Bridgette chasing giddily behind her for what seemed like miles!
