A few days ago, we took Bridgette to pay her respects to Alan’s ancestors. This included Alan’s maternal grandfather, paternal grandparents, and a few of his paternal great aunts and uncles. It was Bridgette’s first experience and I had to explain the whole concept of what it meant to pay respects to those that are deceased and not with us anymore. She was quite intrigued! I’m really glad we got to do this together as a family…
