My friend Dana Henderson Miller has an incredibly funny blog where she shares her life as a stay-at-home mother of 3 precious children. I love how she has a ‘quote of the day’ for her children. They do say the funniest, craziest things and it would be a shame not to remember them. Therefore, I am ‘borrowing’ this idea and sharing funny quotes from Bridgette!
Here’s one from yesterday as I was reading a story to her about Rudolph the red-nose reindeer.
Bridgette: Mommy, how come Santa Claus flies when Mr. Moon is out? I thought you said that when Mr. Moon is out we should all be sleeping?
(Long pause as I tried to find a sensible answer for this one)
Me: Babycake, Santa Claus only comes out once a year to give gifts to children, so he has special permission to stay up late that one night.
