One of the perks of being a Wedding Planner for so many years is the fact that I know a ton of super talented artisans. Nancy Liu Chin, floral designer extraordinaire, is definitely one of them. She and I have known each other for as long as I’ve been in the industry (about 14 years) and I have come to view her and her hubby Kevin as my good friends rather than my “vendors”. In fact, Kevin, an extraordinary photographer, took my maternity shots when I was pregnant with Bridgette!
This summer, Nancy’s 10 year old niece was in town visiting, and Nancy decided it’d be fun to introduce her to some new friends in the Bay Area by throwing her a lovely little tea party. Brianne and Bridgette were amongst the handful of lucky little girls to be invited. I say lucky because Nancy and Kevin are known to throw some pretty special parties at their cool loft in San Francisco!
This tea party definitely did not disappoint. The girls indulged in a number of delicacies such as tea sandwiches, lemonade, and mini cupcakes over a beautifully decorated table.
After the tea party, Nancy continued on with her brilliant ideas. This time, she decided to teach all the girls how to make pretty floral crowns! They had such fun doing it, and also recognized that floral design is definitely not as easy as they had thought!
After the girls were finished with their floral crowns, Kevin whipped out his best camera to do a little mini shoot for them! I was so blown away by the Chins’ amazing hospitality!
Thank you, Nancy, Kevin and Jordan, was such a special day!!!
