When Your World Turns Upside Down

This past summer, our world was rocked in so many ways. It was the most unforgettable summer ever, not because we took a fancy exotic trip, and not because we had some kind of windfall. Our world was turned upside down because we welcomed a new member to our family!

No, I did not have a baby, but my level of excitement for my sister’s baby was probably just as well. 🙂 Brady Chuang, my adorable, precious nephew, arrived to the world on June 20, 2016. It was one of the best, and most memorable days of my life.

Rewind to mid-May though, when Mimi flew over here at about 35 weeks into her pregnancy to live with us until her due date. It was one of the best times we shared together as sisters. I so enjoyed having her around and being able to take care of her. She came with Bridgette and I to many of our homeschool outings, and it was just an incredible blessing to hang out together every single day. She and I took walks around our neighborhood almost every night after dinner, and those were precious times where we not only shared intimate talks, but encouraged each other in our journey with the Lord.
