Mother’s Day

For Mother’s Day this year, we took my mother and father in law to The Melting Pot where they got their first fondue experience!

The week before Mother’s Day, Bridgette brought home a lovely invitation from school. I was elated to be invited for a Mommy & Me tea to honor all the mommies!

The children gathered together to sing several songs with simple lyrics that expressed their love and appreciation for their mommies. My heart nearly melted! Here is a video of one of the songs!

I was sad that I couldn’t celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom this year, but felt comforted to know that she enjoyed a wonderful champagne brunch with my sister, brother in law, and niece in Hong Kong. We will have to do a belated celebration when she is here this summer!
