Summer 2014 {Part I.}

Brianne and Bridgette had quite a summer, filled with travels, time with family, and free play. The best part for them, of course, was getting to enjoy one another’s company 24/7. Here’s a recap in photos of their fun summer vacation!

One of our favorite activities: picnicking in our hood!

BBQ with cousins

Hiking in Woodside

We took a short weekend trip to San Luis Obispo again, just like last year, for their Farmer’s Market, clam chowder at Pismo Beach, and blueberry muffins at Apple Farm Inn. I think we’re going to make it an annual tradition to go there now, as it’s only a short 3.5 hour drive and we have so much fun!

Silly girls in Pismo Beach

Indulging in more clam chowder in a bread bowl after a day at the beach

Enjoying some street side music at the Farmer’s Market in SLO
The girls love the casualness of a Farmer’s Market, allowing them to eat curb side with everyone else

Although the girls were joined at the hip almost all summer, we made sure that Bridgette didn’t forget her own friends. Play dates were still arranged, and for the birthday of one of Bridgette’s closest friends from school, Helen, the girls were invited to dress up for a fancy dinner!

More summer adventures in the next post to come….
